What you can get with coupons....

I had all these coupons I was saving for Target. I was not sure what would be a great deal and what would not so I saved them all. I matched Target coupons with maufacturer coupons to make my deals even better.

Here is what I got.......
My coupon saving totaled $12.24. My total paid was $7.85 plus...
I will send in a rebate wortrh $3.79. SO, my total out of pocket will be $4.06. I was at Target to get a prescription so that is my combined trip.

I love to hear about your good deals. I too love Target and recently printed some coupons to use at the store. When I got to the register the coupons wouldn't scan and the cashier told me that if they don't scan that they wouldn't honor them. She went on to tell me that most of the time they don't scan.
What a dumb rule this is. Have you ever had this problem at Target?

Kim, I am sorry to hear you had a problem like this. I have always heard such good things about Target and only have great experiences there myself. Even when the item is only 99cents and the coupon is $1.00, they give the $1.00 off. They have never once questioned why I would want 20 of the same item either. I would try again but look for a different cashier. I find that men cashiers are always careless about coupons! They are my favorite!
Let me know how you make out next time!
