I am busy listing things on Ebay today to make a few extra dollars for Christmas gifts and then I will get a few hours of work in for my job today. Still no heat turned on in our house but there is a nice fire again today. We broke out the stash of Christmas movies... the season is just about upon us! DS and I are battling colds.. let's just hope they are all gone by the time we go to Disney at the end of the month!! I was able to get my hands on 4 copies of todays coupons with only buying 1 newspaper! My favorite coupon is $1.00 of any Charmin TP. I have a local chain that still sells the 4 pack of single size rolls for just a little over $1.00. That will give me several packs of TP for the price of 1!

Friday......

Frugal happenings of the day... I hung out a load and a half of laundry. Jeans and towels take so long to dry in the dryer so I try to hang them out when I can to save a few pennies. Also, while out running errands, I picked up a few things to make taco's for dinner (we typically eat out on a Friday night) and got a free movie from the library... also to save a few pennies. Still no heat turned on here. My usual goal is not heat until November 1st. Any day I can make it past that is pennies in my pocket! With the cost of oil right now, I need to save all the pennies I can. I will start a fire this afternoon so that the living room is nice and toasty for this evening while we watch tv. What are your frgal happenings today?

October 31st......

Happy Halloween everyone. What a fun day for the kids! Mine do not get to celebrate Halloween in school since it has become a controversial day but instead they will be having a fall fruit and veggie fest. Lots of games and fruits and veggies. My DS tried fennel yesterday and discovered he loves it. I never even tried fennel! Don't eat too much candy tonight!!! The pumpkin above was a gift from a neighbor. Isn't it cool!!
