Tackle it Tuesday............

This is a before picture for our powder room remodel. I forgot to take a picture before the 80's country wall paper was torn down but picture light green, peach and hearts. Enough to make you puke! I will show you the progress next week!

Tuesday Freebies and Black Friday Ads.......

First, make sure you get out and vote today! I am going as soon as DS gets on the school bus. At dinner last night, DS said they voted in his class yesterday. 11 kids voted for John McCain and 7 voted for Rocco Bombo. He also said the whole class had to go to the nurse to have their heads checked for bugs! ACK! Luckily none were found!

Lasko 754200 Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat - we picked this up yesterday to warm the bathroom during shower time. We keep the heat set at 60 We normally have a fire in the fireplace in our living room. This keeps the 1st floor comfortable but we were freezing while we showered. Now, we run this little heater for 10 minutes in a closed bathroom and the problem is solved... we are warm and we save money!!

Fisher-Price Imaginext Adventures Pirate Ship [Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging] - we have this ship and I think it makes a great gift. BUT... now it makes an even better gift because Fisher Price has eliminated all the "wrap rage". No more plastic ties, hard to open plastic or screwed down parts. Now this Pirate Ship comes in cardboard packaging that is easy to recycle. Way to go Amazon and Fisher Price!!

Tuesday....... Budget Baked Ziti (Baked Ziti I - Allrecipes) and Garlic bread

Pasta $1.00
Sauce - 1 home made sauce and 1 $1 can of store bought sauce
generic sour cream - $1.09
Hamburger - (from freezer - bought at a meat sale, cooked and put in portion size bags and frozen)
2 bags of cheese - $4.00
Garlic Bread - free - made from left over rolls from friends party

- this will serve 2 dinners and a lunch.

Wednesday..... Sheppard's Pie (made with things on hand)

Thursday - left overs

Friday - dinner out (with a gift card and a coupon!)

Saturday - grill night
