I wanted to share a nifty idea I saw in Family Fun magazine that we copied this weekend. DD has a beautiful doll trunk that her grandfather made for her for her American Girl Doll. The only problem is that she had more clothing for her dolls than the trumk can hold. SO... we bought a spring loaded curtin rod this weekend and hung it on the bottom shelf of the book shelf in her room. Instant large closet for the doll!! It looks great and we can also set the shoes across the bottom. I may add another rod later and make a curtin for it as a closet door. Now the trunkc holds all the hats, purses and stockings nicely. Problem solved!!
