WILBRAHAM, MA (March 9, 2009) – Kids will see the world through “Sprinkle-Vision” when Friendly’s kicks off Menu Madness March 16-19, 2009. Each day from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. kids can bring their thinking caps and appetites to their local Friendly’s restaurant to search for secret codes hidden throughout the store. Each kid will receive a pair of Sprinkle-Vision glasses with red lenses that will allow them to view the codes. Kids can enter the codes online at www.IWannaGoToFriendlys.com to win fantastic prizes and try their luck at taking over the Friendly’s virtual ice cream factory.

The cherry on top? To celebrate the event, Friendly’s will be offering great meal deals including $1.99 kids meals and $3.99 big kid meals from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. to encourage friends and family to join in the fun without breaking the bank. These special offers include a beverage, entrĂ©e and, of course, ice cream. Friendly’s will also be introducing new kids menu items, including Popcorn Chicken, a Vol-Cone-O Sundae and Apple Slices.

Kids can write down the codes at the store and when they get home, with the help of parents, visit www.IWannaGoToFriendlys.com to gain access to Friendly’s virtual ice cream factory. Once inside, kids will be challenged to navigate through multiple levels, play a series of puzzles and games in order to win real-life prizes. The lucky grand-prize winner will get the chance to participate in the next Friendly’s kids commercial, and will receive free ice cream for a year. Three prize winners will receive a grand tour of the real Friendly’s ice cream factory, and 27 winners will win free ice cream for a year.
