First Tomatoes....

I love tomatoes! One food I could survive on.. tomatoes!! Love them!! This year I am more grateful than ever for these grape tomato plants on my deck. You see here, my first red tomatoes. I picked them last week. You may also notice the yellow leaves behind the tomatoes. It has been so cool and wet in the North East this summer. My grape tomato plants are turning yellow and the garden tomato plants have lots of buds but no tomatoes. We will be lucky to have tomatoes by August at this rate.
The good side of having a cool wet summer.... we have yet to turn on any air conditioning. We have never made it this far into a summer without air conditioning since we have been married.
Love the electric bill... miss the garden fresh tomatoes!
