The found money total for 2009 was.......
$3.37
Cost us nothing to earn that either. I think looking down paid much better interest for the year than many saving accounts!
Can we beat the total in 2010? We are going to try!!

Alright I saw your post on this and thought....WHY not. I tallied up my change and $12.65 for 2009. I swear more than half was found in my work parking lot seems like a change magnet
Good job! I never seem to find money laying around...then again, I don't go out much. We do keep a change jar for the various nickels and dimes that are leftover after making a purchase with cash. We frequently end up with between $40 and $50 in the jar by the time we cash it in!
I'm always amazed on the rare occasions when I see people toss their coins in the trash.
