Tuesday......

In a poor economy, you would think more companies would be very focused on customer service. One of the first things you learn in business is that it is easier to keep a customer than to gain a new one. My son had a birthday party last week with some of his friends. He received a gift card for Toys R Us so, while I was headed there anyway, I decided to take some of the gifts that need to be returned, along with me. To my amazement, they would not take anything with out a receipt. Even when I asked to just exchange the item for something else and could show them that the same Indian Jones Lego's were on display next to customer service, the answer was still no. I then assured the woman that this gift card would be the last dime I spent in this store. Seriously, what is the big deal with this? Since Toys R Us is already a struggling company, you think they would be happy to please a customer instead of lose one. It is not like they have something for sale that no one else has. Good bye Toys R Us. It is the end of a long friendship!

Look close in the cereal isle at your grocery store! There are several Kellogg's cereals out right now with TMF offers:
* Smart Start with Strawberries
* Rice Krispies with Strawberries
* Blueberry Muffin Frosted Mini Wheats
You have to find the specially marked packages that say "Try Me Free". Most have the form printed inside the box. The expiration date is a year from now: 7/31/09.

I had the same problem with them. I finally asked for the manager and he gave me a gift card. I refuse to shop at that store anymore.

TRU is too far for us to shop there. CS is poor in a lot of places these days.
Thanks for the heads up on the cereal offer.
