- My name is Carol. My DH, 2 kids, myself and a dog live somewhere in south central PA. I work from home for a Dr.'s office. My interests include gardening, bargain shopping, finding freebies on the interent, reading, a wide variety of crafts including scrapbooking, and spending time with my family. I'm pretty sure that your bird is called a Grossbeak. My mom has always fed the birds and I know I've seen that little guy before. BTW, I'm from PA too, southwest corner.

He is a Rose breasted Grossbeak. He is very friendly and does not fighten off very easy. Sometimes we have a few of them and their dates. We look forward to this group every spring and fall and try to keep the feeders full until we know they have passed on through.
